MOUSTERIAN LEVALLOIS TOOL CAST $20
Molded and cast from the authentic original on loan from the Jerry Sherman collection in 2011. It is a wonderful example of Neanderthal flintknapping, as a flake tool made by the ingenious Levallois core technique. This piece is actually a multi-tool, showing use as a scraper, a perforator, knife, and a sharp point. It is from the Quina Mousterian Period of the Middle Paleolithic, and is from the Oise Department, Picardie Region of France(around 60,000 years ago). (see ITEM)

MAGDALENIAN BLADE CORE $25
This great example of an upper paleolithic(12-17,000 years ago) blade core was sent to Occpaleo for casting in 2011. It was a loan from the fantastic Jerry Sherman collection in Indiana. It is a wonderful example of a core used for blades, scrapers, and burins, from the site of St. Dramont, La Chapelle Aubareuil, Eyral in France. (SEE ITEM)

MAGDALENIAN BURIN BLADE $15
This authentic example of a burin was sent to Occpaleo for casting in 2011. It was loaned from the Jerry Sherman collection, and is a top grade example of this type of tool. It is from the French site of Le Sorbier(losse Chateau) near the famous cave of Lascaux. The Magdalenian time period dates to around 12 to 17,000 years ago in Europe, which is a time for the flourishing of cave painting and the use of core blade tools(burins) to carve items made of bone and ivory. MAGDALENIAN SCRAPER $15
An excellent example of an authentic scraper from the Magdalenian period in Europe(around 12-17,000 years ago). The fine piece was sent to Occpaleo in 2011 for casting, on loan from the Jerry Sherman collection in Indiana. It was found near La Madeleine, Vezere Valley, in the Dordogne region of France. Made of dark brown french flint, it measures 1 and 5/8th inches. (SEE ITEM)
