A modern drawing(artist sketch, not print) of a Rhino outline found in the famous Chauvet Cave of France. The original cave art dates to around 33,000 years old, and is some of the oldest paleolithic art known. There is a whole panel of art in Chauvet, devoted to depicting Rhinos, and this example stood alone as a wonderful study of the relationship of humans and animals at the time. The Culture Ministry in France describes this as a female Rhino with the extra long horn, and the ears seem to be a personal choice of the artist or local culture. To keep with the theme of the original, this modern replica was drawn with chalk sticks, in the same earth tones of the original cave art. Done on archival acid free highly textured paper, measuring 10 X 12 inches of colored art(10 X 14 inches that can be cut to fit) that is ready for framing. Second picture showing more context of the Rhino Panel in Chauvet Cave, not included in listing.
