DISCOUNTED for the CLEARANCE COLLECTION due to cosmetic dings from testing for our new video series. This new throwing stick was crafted here guided by personal examination of the original artifact in the Smithsonian Museum collections. Made in oak like the original,  it also follows the same measurements at 24.75 inches. By following the airfoil contour cross sections, our testing resulted in a stick that flew low and level for about 25 yards. This type of stick was originally used in the American Southwest to hunt small game such as rabbits,  crafted to hover low over the ground without dropping or raising too much. The flat profile produced not only a level flight, but could be skipped across the ground like a flat stone over water. Picture of original in museum provided for the buyer.
