Leftover cut of genuine Gemsbok horn.  This slice is solid and clean on the outside ridges, and shows saw marks on the rough inside.  In the last picture, a hairline crack can be seen on the inside edge.  It does not go through to the outside, so the horn slice should still be suitable for knife scales and related projects.  See pics above for measurements.
