This Levallois cast was molded from the original,  and dates to 50 to 60,000 years old (Middle Paleolithic/Mousterian). Measuring 48mm by 27mm,  it was made in flint by Homo Neanderthalensis, and from the Combe-Capelle Bas, Southern France region. The original was loaned to Occpaleo from the Lowery collection, and originally deaccessioned 1960 Copenhagen Museum, National Museum of Denmark, Ex Collection H.
