This large Levallois cast was molded from the original, which dates to the Middle Paleolithic/Mousterian, and dates to around 120 to 170,000 years old. It measures 123mm (4 and 7/8th inches) by 55mm wide, and is from Bir Tarfawi,  Egypt. This point was on generous loan from the Lowery Collection,  originally deaccessioned 1960 Copenhagen Museum, National Museum of Denmark: Ex.
