Original Drawing. A new scientific illustration by artist Michael R. Frank, done with graphite pencil on archival acid free thick art paper, after personal examination of the original artifact.  The Hogeye Cache consists of over 50 texas flint bifaces from the Clovis Era, around 12 to 13,000 years ago, in what is now Bastrop County in central Texas.  This is one of the largest and best made of the bifaces in the collection, and is consider a very nearly finished final preform.  It only lacks the final edge touch finishing/sharpening to be a completed Clovis point. This biface was loaned to Occpaleo for molding and casting,  by Texas A&M, for display and study examples to be provided for the Paleoindian Conference in Santa Fe in 2013.  This one time only original art is signed by the artist, as shown in second picture above.  Ready for framing now in 9 X 12 inch sheet, suitable for framing in 8 X 10 inch frame.
