A CAST of a Neville point cast from The Point, Falmouth, Maine.  This type is an atlatl dart point, dating to the Middle Archaic(around 6 to 8,000 years ago), and found in the New England area.  This example was loaned to Occpaleo for molding and casting from the Maine Historic Preservation Committe, so that it could be shared with the Portland Maine School System to assist in the History teaching programs.  The point measures 75mm long(3 inches) and 28mm wide.
