This 11 oz coffee mug is new and unused, and has been created to show the new logo for our business Occpaleo. The art was designed especially for archaeologists and flintknappers, with the most classic icon of the Paleoindian time period in North America, the Clovis point. The example chosen for this lithic illustration was part of the famous Drake Cache, found in Logan County, Colorado, and dating around 12 to 13,000 years ago. The Drake Cache was discovered in 1977, and contained 13 wonderfully made artifacts, in the beautiful colors of Alibates flint. The last picture above shows an exhibit at the Smithsonian Institution, and point on far right was illustrated by Michael Frank after examination/lithic casting of original artifact. Mug is around 4 inches tall and made in microwavable high quality ceramic.
