A replica of a Pueblo culture arrow, that is currently in the University of Pennsylvania Museum.  The original was collected in Rio Grande, NM, before the age and trade of iron points to the area. It had a grey Texas chert point, and wild Turkey tail fletching, and we have used the same,  all lashed with real deer sinew and hide glue.  The feather cut here was among the lowest I am aware of worldwide, at less than a quarter of an inch in height in spots, and around 8 inches in total length.  To match the original, the sinew had to be spliced very thin, so that it laid not only flat, but see through.  When shot in a bow bare handed, the Puebloans were very careful not to let any quill be out, that could cut over the shooting hand.   The main shaft is Serviceberry, and slightly barreled toward tip, and 23 and half inches overall length.  This arrow is functional for real shoot testing, but was made for a teaching example, and for demonstration of authentic techniques for arrow construction within regional environments and cultures.
