A cast of an authentic Synders Point that was sent to Occpaleo for molding and casting in 2011.  The original was made in a very colorful Flint Ridge flint, and measures 76mms by 52mms.  It was found in Knox County, Ohio and is from the Hopewell Culture of the Middle Woodland Period(around 2,000 to 300 AD).  This beautiful style of point was named from the Snyders Site in Calhoun County, Illinois and it is well known and admired for its unique notching which expands as it goes inward.   (ex Wayne Morris/Steven Wilber collections)(COA Stermer Western Typology 2009)(cast copyright Occpaleo 2018)
