This cast was molded from the authentic original artifact, loaned to Occpaleo for molding. It was found in Butler County, Mo, and was formerly suggested as a St.Louis style late Clovis, and now reexamined and typed into the Crowfield Clovis/Late Transitional Paleoindian, dating around 10 to 11,000 years ago. This point has beautiful flaking and shows multiple fluting on both sides.  It was made in a black chert,  and was flaked very thin as well.   The point is 3 and 3/8th inches long and is 1 and 1/2 inches wide.  (COA Stermer Western Typology)(cast copyright Occpaleo 2018)
